Q: Does Snappy's Buy Firearms?

A: We do not pay cash for firearms at this time. We do take firearms on Trade as an option. We can also sell them on your behalf on a Consignment Basis

Q: What types of Firearms does Snappy's accept for Trade / Consignment?

A: We are happy to consider any legal firearms. Much of the decision is made based on space and condition of the firearm. The selection and demands do vary and the guys at the Gun Counter are happy to chat with you about your firearm.

Q: How do I know how much my firearm is worth?

A: Snappy's is happy to help you find the value of your firearm. We use the industry standard "Blue Book of Gun Values" to provide an estimate of the worth and market value if your firearm. Any trade value would be based on these well establish, industry standards. Generally speaking, there is not charge for us to help you establish your firearms worth. If you have multiple or a collection a small fee would apply. (Please Contact Us to arrange a time)

Q: Do you offer a Consignment option to sell my firearm?

A: We sure do. Snappy's is happy to display and sell your firearm in our store (depending on space limitations). We would help you establish your asking price (and lowest price if you'd like us to negotiate on your behalf) for your firearm. The fee for the consignment would be $10.00 + 15% of the Selling price. If you decide to pickup your firearm it would just be the $10.00 Consignment Fee. (You will also need to complete a ATF Form 4473 and any required Background Check at the time of pickup). Consignment payments would be paid via check within 10 business days of the sale. That check can either be mailed or picked up in store (your choice)

Q: What restrictions are there on Used Firearms?

A: All firearms must be legally yours. You must present a valid Montana Photo Identification for us to accept any firearms. (This will also be made available to Law Enforcement as legally required / requested). We do verify that any Serial Numbers do not show on the Flathead County Stolen Property Lists. They must also be in working / factory spec conditions. We do not have a gunsmith on staff, so we cannot repair or alter firearms for sale. Used firearms will be sold "As Is". All acquisitions of used firearms are accepted with a confirmation of working / legal / saleable condition upon intake.
